MINUTES <br />City Council <br />October 7, 1981 <br />The foregoing reso1ution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey. <br />qyes (5) Scalze, Fahey, Forsberg, Nardini, Hanson. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 360. <br />It was the recommendation of the City Clerk that the deferred assessment <br />in the amount of $2,404.20 for the vacated portion of Lake Street owned <br />by Wa9te Realty be levied. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 81-10-545 - LEVYING THE ASSESSMENT FOR THE <br />VACATED PORTION OF LAKE STREET OWNED BY WAITE REFlLTY IN <br />TFIE AMOUNT OF $2,404.20. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br />Flyes (5) Fahey, Scalze, Flanson, Nardini, Forsberg. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 360. <br />Mr. Fahey commented that when an assessment is levied, it is automatic <br />that interest is also levied. <br />Parkview The City Clerk reported that there are deferred assessments on a lot <br />Realty located on Ruth Street that is owned by Parkview Realty. The property <br />is unbuildable, unless the Council grants a variance. The lot is <br />50 feet by 135 feet, which does not meet the square footage requirements <br />of City Code. <br />Mr. fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 81-10-546 - CONTINUING THE DEFERRED ASSESSMENT <br />FOR THE PARKUIEW REALTY PROPERTY, PARCEL N0. 53-55000-340-02, <br />TN THE AMOUNT OF $10,017.50 UNTIL SUCH TIME AS THE PROPERTY IS <br />TRANSFERRED OR COM6INED WITH ANOTHER PFlRCEL <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. <br />qyes (5) Fahey, Hanson, Scalze, Forsberg, Nardini. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 361. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 81-10-547 - LEVYING THE ACCRUED INTEREST <br />ON THE PARKVIEV~ REALTY PROPERTY, PARCEL N0. 53-55000-340-02, <br />AT AN INTEREST RATE OF 10% FOR A PERIOD OF 13 YEARS <br />BEGINNING ON OCTOBER 16, 1981 <br />Page -4- <br />
