It passes through some low ground
and some high ground. The reason the assessment was deferred is because
there is no road through this property.
The City Clerk stated that some of this property is wet and, therefore,
it may not be realistic to assume it will be developed.
Mrs. Nardini also commented that some of the property is designated as
an outlot and, therefore, is unsaleable. Nardini stated that that portion
of the assessment should be deleted.
Mr. Fahey suggested that action be tabled on these deferred assessments
until the Eng~neer can determine which portion of the assessments should
be de1eted.
Mrs. Scalze asked if it would be possib1e to develop an outlot in the future.
The Engineer replied that an outlot is a permanent drainage easement.
Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION N0. 81-10-548 - TABLING ACTION ON THE DEFERRED
ASSESSMENTS ON THE AGNES AND FRED SCHLETTY PROPERTY AND
THE fREDERICK AND MFlRILYN SCHLETTY PROPERTY
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey.
Ayes (5) Scalze> Fahey> Forsberg, Hanson, Nardini.
Nayes (0).
Resolution declared adopted.
This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 362.
Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTIOM N0. 81-10-549 - DIRECTING THE CITY ENGINEER
TO REPORT AT THE NEXT COUNCIL MEETING CONCERNING THE
PROPER FlSSESSMENT DIVISION, IN HIS OPINIOM, fOR THE
SCHLETTY PROPERTIES SETTING FORTH THAT PORTION WHICH
HE 6ELIEVES SHOULD BE STRICKEN AND THAT PORTION WhIICH
SHOULD QE LEVIED OR DEfERRED.
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze.
Ayes (5) Fahey, Scalze, Flanson, Nardini, Forsberg.
Nayes (0).
Reso7ution declared adopted.
This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 362.
Page -5-
