MINUTES OF THF REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESO7A <br />October 28, 1981 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City <br />Counc~i7 of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 28th <br />day of October, 1981 in the Council Chambers of the City Center <br />located at 515 Little CanadaRoad in said City. <br />The Mayor, Mr. Raymond Flanson, called the meeting to order at 7:32 P.M. <br />and the following were present at roll call. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Mr. Raymond Hanson <br />Councilman Mr. Dennis Forsberg <br />Counci7man Mr. Michael Fahey <br />Councilwoman Mrs. Mugs Nardini <br />Councilwoman Mrs. Beverly Scalze <br />ALSO PRESEN7: City Clerk Mr. Joseph Chlebed< <br />Consulting Engineer Mr. Donald Carley <br />City Flttorney Mr. C7ayton Parks <br />City Planner Mr. Brad Nielson <br />Recording Secretary Mrs. Kathleen Glanzer <br />Approval Nardini indicated that the following statement should be added to the end <br />Of The of the third paragraph from the bottom of page 16 of the September 30, <br />Minutes 1981 Counci1 meeting minutes: "Mrs. Nardini remarked that services <br />performed by Recreation employees for Canadian Days Committee were <br />charged to and paid for by them and the same procedure shou7d be followed <br />when dealing with work performed for the Recreation Flssociation since <br />they are both independent organizations." <br />Mrs. Nardini introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 81-10-622 - APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE <br />SEPTEMBER 30, 1981 COUNCIL MEETTNG WITN THE AMENDMENT <br />AS OUTLINED FlBOVE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey. <br />F{yes (5) Nardini, Fahey, forsberg, Hanson, Sca7ze. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 404. <br />Mrs. Nardini indicated that on page 26 of the minutes, the section <br />dealing with the Peterson Liquor Store matter, it should refiect that <br />Mrs. Nardini was called by Griggs Cooper who questioned their legal <br />right to sell liquor to the Peterson Liquor Store as the store is now <br />under management of h1GM Liquors and the liquor license has not been <br />transferred to MGM. <br />Mrs. Nardini also questioned the use of the word "accrued" in the <br />resolutions in the minutes of October 7, 1981 meeting. It was the <br />concensus of the Counci1 that the use of the word "accrued" was <br />appropriate. <br />Page -1- <br />
