NINUTES <br />City Council <br />November 2II, 1987 <br />St. Jude's The City Flttorney informed the Council that he has the St. Jude's PUD <br />PUD Agreement signed by St. Jude's. It is complete except for one typo. <br />Agreement The Mayor and City Clerk must sign the agreement for the City. The <br />Attorney stated that he would like the Planner to review the agreement <br />before it is signed by the City. <br />Mrs. Nardini commented that the City has no plan that shows the 100 feet <br />ofi buffer zone. The Flttorney commented that this is stated in the PUD <br />agreement, and as long as it is, the City does not need a plan. <br />Amending Mr. Fahey suggested that the agenda be amended to hear items from the <br />The Agenda floor. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adop~ion: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 81-10-640 - AMENDING THE AGENDA TO HEAR <br />ITEMS fROM THE FLOOR <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Forsberg. <br />qyes (5) Scalze, Forsberg, Hanson, Nardini, Fahey. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 415. <br />Woodlyn Mrs. Nardini asked the status of the Woodlynn Avenue-Soo Line Crossing <br />Avenue matter. <br />Crossing <br />The Attorney replied that he was informed that the processing of this <br />permit would take some t5me. <br />Gagne The Flttorney informed the Council that the prosecutor in his off9ce is <br />Matter preparing a complaint against Mr. Gagne that will have to be signed <br />by the Mayor. The Mayor will also be required to testify in court. <br />The Mayor stated that he had no objection to doing so. <br />Machin Mrs. Nardini asked the status of the Machin deferred assessment. <br />Deferred <br />Assessment The Flttorney commented that he has not met with Mr. Machin about getting <br />a permanent easement on this property. The Engineer commented that at <br />the meeting Mr. Machin commented that he wou7d grant a drainage easement, <br />but nothing permanent. <br />The City Clerk stated that the City presently has an easement across <br />this property and believed that it was permanent. <br />Mr. Forsberg agreed that Mr. Machin was not in favor of granting anything <br />permanent. Mrs. Scalze commented that at the meeting Mr. Machin was <br />informed that the Flttorney wou1d meet with him on this. <br />The Attorney stated that the City's easement is permanent, and that he <br />thought at the meeting the Council was talking about something permanent <br />so that the City would own this property. <br />Paqe -17- <br />
