MTPIUTES <br />City Council <br />November 25, 19E1 <br />Allen Mrs. Scalze presented to the Council the Park Commission's recommenda'tion <br />Avenue for park property in the area of Flllen Flvenue. The Park Commissions' <br />Development recommendation would utilize about 10% of the land area and lies on the <br />Sofie, Peterson and Flynn property. Mrs. Scalze commented that there <br />may be some property that the City will have to buy 9n order to make <br />this recommendation work. <br />Mr. Elanson commented that the Park Commission is asking for 1and for <br />park rather than cash in this case. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 87-11-674 - FlMENDING PLAN D FOR TFIE DEVELOPMENT <br />OF THIS AREA TO INCLUDF TFIE. PARK COMP~ISSION'S RECOMMENDFlTI0~1 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey. <br />Ayes (4) Scalze, fahey, Forsberg, Hanson. <br />Nayes (1) Nardini. <br />Res.olution dec1ared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 43£i. <br />Park The City recently received two applications for the vacancy on the Park <br />Commission Commission. These applications were from Mr. Joseph Lunders and Mr. <br />Vacancy Nicholas Kent. Mrs. Scalze commented that the term is from December, <br />1981 to December, 1982. <br />Council voted by ballot to fill the vacancy. The vote went as follows: <br />P4rs. Scalze voted for Mr. Kent; Mr. Flanson voted for Mr. Kent; Mr. Fahey <br />voted for Mr. Kent> Mrs. Nardini voted for Mr. Kent; and Mr. Forsberg <br />voted for Mr. Kent. Mr. Nicholas Kent was, therefore, appointed to fill <br />the vacancy on the Park Commission. <br />Clerk's Mr. Fahey suggested that the Clerk's report on the Machin and l~leber <br />Report assessments be tabled. <br />Revenue Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />Sharing <br />Transfer RESQLUTION N0. 81-11-675 - TRFlNSFERRING $1~,1G8 FROM ThIE <br />TR ST ANb AGENC fUPID TO THE GENERFlL FUND <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. <br />I{yes (5) Fahey, Hanson, Forsberg, Scalze, R~ardini. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Reso1ution Eook No. 7, Page 439. <br />Page -21- <br />
