MINUTES City Council December 9~ 1981 Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 81-12-696 - LEVYING INTERtiST ON THE WEBER DEF'ERRED ASSESSMENT 'Phe foregoing resolution was duly s~conded by Mrs. Scalze. Ayes (5) Fahey~Scalze, Hanson, P'orsberg, Nardini. Nayes (0). Resolution declared adopted. This resol~ation appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Yage 1t71t. Jackson Street P'illing Mrs. Nardini asked the Clerk i£ he had checked with the DNR on the Jackson 5treet filling. The C1erk replied that the DNR is not interested. Mrs. Scalze asked i£ anyone has talked to Mr. Scha£er about the filling he has done on City property. F'ahey suggested the Clerk ask Mr. Schafer what his plans are for removing l:he fill and inform him that the Council would like a reply in writing. Fahey also stated that Schafer should be informed that i£ he does not remove the fill, the City will take further action. St. Jude~s The Clerk reported that he has received the plat showing the 100 £oot buffer on the St. Jude~s property. Sirens Mrs. Nardini asked the status of civil defense sirens in th~ City. The Clerk replied that Shoreview is taking bids on these sirens. City Mrs. Nardini asked the status of the telephone situation in the City Center. Telephone Mrs. Nardini wa~ not aware that the City Genter presently has two telephone lines. Adjourn Mr. Hanson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 81-i2-697 ~ ADJOURNING The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. Ayes (5) Hanson, Scalze, Forsberg, Fahey, Nardini, Nayes (0). Resolution declared adopted. This r~solution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 475.
