NLINUTES <br />City Council <br />December 9~ lytil <br />Maplewood Mrs. Nardini reported that two people have called who live in the <br />Sewer area where Maplewood wants to connect to Little Canada sewer. <br />Connection These people stated that the contractor removed the ditch in the <br />area and now all meltings and water go into the street and £reeze, <br />Niayor Hanson commented that this was a County probl,em. <br />Uuardrails Nlr. Forsberg reported that the City received a letter from the County <br />on the requests that the City had for guardrails. The County is <br />recommending that delineator posts be instal7.ed in these locations, <br />ivir. Forsberg stated that he would have Roger Glanzer contact the County <br />on this. <br />Auto Hepair Nlr. Forsberg reported that Rachard i~iilota of Wrecks to Wonders has <br />License applied for an auto repair izcense to do auto repair at 3152 Country <br />~~Wrecks To Drive. Mr. Forsberg stated that he spoke to Mr. Milota and there <br />Wonders~~ would be no spray painting done on the premises. <br />I'orsberg also stated that the building does have 5/8 inch £ireproof <br />sheetrock on the wa11s. <br />tdr. Forsberg introduced the £ollowing resolution and moved its adoption: <br />NESOLUTION N0. 81-12-691~ - AYPROVING THE AUTO REPAIR <br />liICENSE FOR ~~WRECKS TO WONDERS~~ SU&TECT TO THE <br />R:EINSPECTION AND APYROVAL OF"PHE FIRE MARSHALL <br />'Phe £oregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. <br />Ayes (5) Forsberg~ Hanson, Nardini~ Fahey~ Scalze. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution I3ook No. 7, Yage 1t73. <br />Weber '~'he City Clerk stated that in 1968 or 1969 the Weber assessment~ along <br />Deferred with sorne others~ was deferred because the property was a pond. The <br />Assessment Clerk reported that most of these deferrments are now levied, The <br />Clerk stated that in 1969 the policy was that the assessment would <br />remain de£erred until the property was connected to the improvernent. <br />The Clerk stated that the City4s present policy has been to look at <br />what benefit the property gets £rom the improvement. <br />The Clerk recommended that the Weber assessment continuedto be deferred. <br />Nr. Forsberg iratroduced the following resolution and moved its adoption; <br />I~E,SOLUTION NQ. b-~^a-~'695 - CONTINUING TO DEFER THE <br />GI~,BER ASSESSMENT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Nardini, <br />Ayes (5) Forsberg, Nardini, Fahey, Hanson~ Scalze. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7~ Page l~7Lt. <br />Page -21- <br />
