Mzr~uTEs
City Council
December 9, 1981
Mr. Fahey stated that when the City receives all the easements, Granada
fiomes would get their money back. If there are problems, Fahey suggested
franada Flomes come back to the Counci1 and the Council will take a look
at it.
Morth Star Mr. Fran Husnick appeared before the Council. Mr. Husnick indicated
Estates that he sent a letter to the City Flttorney and to Mrs. Breeding who has
Trailer the lot where the second entrance/exit to the North Star Estates Trailer
Park Park is proposed.
Mr. Husnick indicated to the Council that he would prefer that the second
exit go in in the location of Lot 119. If the ro~d went in on the corner,
there 9s a curve in South Owasso at that point that would make the
intersection dangerous.
Mrs. Sca1ze commented that the lots are bigger on the corner, so the
effect would not be as batl if the entrance went there.
Mr. Husnick stated that Lot 119 was made somewhat wider in case a second
road ever went in.
Mr. Nusnick also indicated that the man on the corner lot of the park has
made a lot ofi improvements to his lot that would have to come down 9f the
entrance werrt there.
Mrs. Sca1ze stated that the person living on Lot 119 never knew that a
roadway was proposed for this lot.
Mr. Husnick stated that Mrs. Breeding never objected to his letter, and, in
fact, she has complained in the past of the activities that go on in the
back of her yard.
Mrs. Sca1ze commented that the trailers on the corners realizecl that they
were on a planned roadway. Also the lots are bigger on the corners and
there wou1d be more breathing room for a road to go in this location.
Scalze also stated that the Counci1 approved a p1an for roadways on all
4 corners, and it seemed to her that the road should be on one of the
predesignated spots.
Fl member of the audience commented that Mr. Husnick agreed to move Mrs.
Breeding at park expense.
Mr. Fahey asked Mr. Husnick if he had seen the Engineer's report stating
that it would be feasible to have the entrance on the corner and it could
be done at less cost. P1r. Husnick expressed concern that the entrance
would then be on a curve. Mr. Flusnick also stated that the man on the
corner has made many improvements to his property and is probably one of
the besttenants that he has.
Mr. Fahey stated that there are merits to the road in either location.
Mr. Nusnick stated that he would move Mrs. Breeding at his expense to a
new 1ot in the park as soon as one becomes available.
Page -6-
