MINUTES
City Cauncil
December 9, 1981
P1r. Fahey commented that this should be done within a reasonable amount
of time.
Mr. Forsberg stated that the City would put the road in at Mr. H~isnick's
expense.
Mrs. Breeding was not in favor of being moved as she trusts the people
where she is living now. Mrs. 6reecling also stated that the people on
Lot 117 do not w~nt to be next to a road.
Mrs. Scalze stated that a road running through would be a bother to the
trailers on either side of it.
Mr. Fahey stated that he would like as little impact on the people in
the court as possible. Fahey commented that if the curve was any kind
of a problem, why not have a straight drive.
Mr. Forsberg felt the corner would be a worse location for the road
because the tra.ilers are at angles and the road would come closer to
these trailers. The Engineer stated that on the corner two trailers
might have to be moved.
Mr. Nusnick informed the Council that it has been two years since there
has been a vacant lot in the trailer park.
Mrs. Scalze did not feel the City cou1d wait for a vacancy.
Fl member of the audience stated that there are several trailers for
sale in the park that could possibly be removed. P1r. Flusnick stated
that the value of a trailer would go down 60% if it must be sold without
a lot.
P4rs. Scalze commented that both the people of the court and the Fire Chief
want another entrance.
Mr. Forsberg stated that he did not want Mrs. Breeding put out on the
street. Forsberg felt that the roadway should be put in when the first
available lot appears. Mr. Forsberg stated that the City cannot wait
for 10 years, but he was not in favor of putting a hardship on Mrs. Breeding.
Mr. Fahey stated that he would like an agreement with Mr. Husnick that when
a lot becomes available, he u~ould move Mrs. Breeding to it.
Mrs. Scalze commented that if Mrs. Breeding does not want to move, the
City is sti17 putting a hardship on her. Mrs. Plardini commented that it
would be better to move to another lot than to be evicted fromthe park.
Mrs. Breeding commented that she would have to take time off from work in
orcler to move. P4r. Husnick stated that she could be moved in one day and
all services, except perhaps air conditioning, could be reconnected the
same day.
P4r. Fahey suggested that perhaps the road could be designated for emergency
use only. A member of the audience and resident of the trailer park did not
feel this would work and stated that the park needs a second entrance.
Pa9e -7-
