MINUTES <br />City Council <br />Jarzuary 27, 1982 <br />State Aid The Engineer reported that the City has received its State Aid al~otm~:~t <br />Allotment for streets. This year the £igure is about $102,000. Last year the <br />City received $75,ODU. <br />Amending Mrs. Scalze introduced the £ollowing resolution and moved its adoption; <br />The Agenda <br />HESOLUTTON N0, b2-1-51 - At~tr;NpJ.NG THE AGENDA 7.'0 <br />HEAR T 0 E Y, ENT - TH~ PLANNTNG COMMISSiON APPOINTEES <br />ANU THE RE;CREATiON DEPdRTMENT PEttSONNEL <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Nardini, <br />Ayes (5) Scalze~ Naxdini, Hanson~ Forsberg, F'ahey, <br />Nayes (0). <br />Hesolution declared adopted, <br />Tnis resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 8, Page 30. <br />Planning The City has three expired terms on the Planning Commission to fill, <br />Commission The iaacumbents o£ these positions are Roy French~ Peter Costa and <br />Appointments Jim Steele and they have all applied for reappointment. The City has <br />also received applicatlons from Arthur Helland and Donald Behr for <br />appointment to the Planning Commi.ssion. <br />Councilmembers voted py ballot as follows; Mr. Hanson voted for Peter <br />Costa~ James Steele and Hoy French; Mr, Fahey voted for Peter Costa, <br />James Steeie and Roy French; Mr, Forsberg voted for Peter Costa~ <br />Roy French and Donald 13ehr; Mrs, Nardini voted £or Peter Costa, Roy <br />French and Axtnur Helland; tJtrs. 5calze voted for James Steele, Roy <br />French and Artnur Helland, <br />Tnerefore~ Yeter Costa, James Steele and Roy F'rench are reappointed <br />to the Planrzing Commission. <br />Recreation Mrs. Soalze recommended that Jim Morelan~ Howie Prudhomme and Diane Husak <br />Salaries be given tne salaries for 1982 which are outlined on page oi oi ine agenda <br />Item ~ly, <br />Mr. r'ahey statied that he reviewed the report tnat Mrs. Scalze put together <br />on Recreation and fett it was excellent, raney commented that tne report <br />points out tihat Little Canada has the lowest per capita expenditure for <br />Recreatlon than otner cities, Mr, Fahey i'elt the City was getting a <br />bax•gain, Fahey stated tnat the t{ecreation llirectors are getting the <br />job done for tne City and are doing a good job. <br />Scalze stacea tnat the City~s Recreation per capita expense is $b,y4 <br />compared with a~tb.ot average t'or other cities and a high in Prior <br />Lake of $32.00. Scalze stated that the City is getting a good dollar <br />value. <br />Mr. Fahey stated that the salary issue is a vote of confidence £or the <br />itecreation Direcr,ors. razhey stated that the salary increase just maintains <br />tuem w~xere they axe now. <br />Yage -ly- <br />
