Scalze opened the public hearing on Cable TV, This is the last <br />public hearing that wil'1 be held in Little Canada on this subject, <br />On Atilarch 25, 1982 the North Suburban Cable Communications Commission <br />will be holding a publa.c hearing at which time the Cable 7'V franchise <br />£or the North Subtuban asea could be awarded. <br />Mr. Don Tarnowski~ the City~s representative on the North Suburban <br />Commiss~on, in£ormed the audience that the commission received franchise <br />proposals on October 1, 198~.. These have been studied by the Convnission, <br />consu:Ltants and lawyers, <br />Under the proposals the following have been offered: Universal serv9.ce <br />which wou:l.d consist o£ 20 channels for a one-time installation fee of <br />approxianately $30.00. These 20 channels :include the 6 channels people <br />currently receive; Tier 2 service would include !t0 channels for <br />approximately $3,50 per month~ ~~ier 3 would include 60 channels for <br />Yage -1~ <br />
