Mr. Sweeney reported that the City's ordinAnce on this is adequate and just a matter of enforcement. Mrs. Nardini suggested that the Co~cil set a policy whereby the Code Lnforcement Officer could handle these types of situations. Nardini asked if the Council fe],t the Code ~n£oxcement O.fficer could initially send a letter on these types of situations and any further action wou7.d be the responsibi7.ity of the Cpuncil. Fehey commented that a property owner was recently in and complained that it is the Co~cil~s job to take care of these situations and this should not be left up to the neighbors.
