P'ahey <br />(Cont.) suggested that the ordinance be le£t a.s is but add that peopl.e over <br /> age 62 who do not meet the guidelines but otherwise £eel they need <br /> the bene£it should apply to the Council. <br /> Mrs. Scalze felt this should not be the Councilos job ancl fe7.t that <br /> an income level should be set. <br /> Nr. Fahey felt that the City should txeat everyone the same. <br /> Mx, Hanson asked the City Clerk if he fe],t the oxdinance wou].d be <br /> chal7.enged. The Clerk replied that he did not. The Attorney reported that <br />Mr. Drops has an objeotion to the Cxty~s wetland ordinance and f'eels <br />Ap,enda that he should be paid for any easement. Mr. Sweeney reported that if <br />Itom No, 1'L tho project goes through9 the City will need an easement to construct <br />a :l.ift station. <br />Mrs. Scalze commented that when a devF].opment proposal. comes in that <br />is the time the City shou7.d obtain any easements. <br />hlr. Carl,ey reported that the Arops property i~ a major ponding area <br />and he should not be asseased for storm sewer that will not do him <br />any good. The cost shoul.d be assessed by acreage to the other people <br />who woua.d be draining into ~t, The E;ngineer did not feel Mr.Drop~ <br />wou].d bene£a.t from storm sewer. <br />The r~ngineer repoxted that he has apaken to Mr. G].asrud and he has <br />stated that the deal a.s off and he will not pay for the storm sewer <br />project. i~ir, Gla.srud previously agreed verbally to paying $Lt0,000 <br />toward this project. <br />Mrs, Scalzc: stated that he would have no choice ~Y the City assessed him, <br />Page .-llt-+ <br />
