This subject~ll. be discussed at the April 28 meeting <br />when the Pla.nner is present, <br />tlgenda <br />atem Noo 31 <br />Street Mr, J.oe Hosse appeared before the Council• NIT'n Rosse informed the <br />Sweepin~ Council that he reoently submitted to the City the low bid for street <br />sweeping. NIr. Joe Rpsse asked the Council why the bids were rejected <br />Non-agenda and his bid not accepted, i~4r, Rosse stated that he ga,ve the City a <br />Ttem No, 6 very good price. Nix~, Rasse al,so informed the Gouncil that his business <br />is located in Little Canada, <br />nrso ~ca7.zs convnented that at the ti.me the Council £e],t they <br />would get a better price by bidding the job on a per male basis. <br />f°1r. Rosse stated that he bids this wor.k in other cities a.nd Little <br />Canada is the only one he knok*s of that has ever gone to a per mi:Le <br />basis. <br />Mr, Fakzey informed NLr. Hosse that the Council shs.uJ.d have adopted his <br />bid. 1'he C~unca.l should have done as the Public Works Superintendent <br />reconunend ed . <br />Z'~~'.
