<br /> MINUTES <br /> City Council <br /> April 28, 1982 <br /> Traffic The Engineer informed the Council that State Aid money could be <br /> Signal On used to pay this cost, <br /> Rice Street <br /> (Cont.) Mr. Forsberg introduced the following resolution and moved its adoptions <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 82-4A229 - ACCEPTING LITTLE CANADA~S <br /> S ARE FOR THE REL CATION OF THE TRAFFIC SIGNALS ON <br /> RICE STREET AND COUNTRY DRIVE IN Tklc. AMOUNT 01'' ~13,ts59 <br /> The Foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. <br /> Ayes Forsberg, klanson, Scalze, Nardini, Fahey. <br /> Nayes (L). Scalze, <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> 'Phis resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 8, Page 175, <br /> Ryan Mr, Carley reported that he has discussed the assessment agreement <br /> Assessment with Mr. Ryan and Mr. Ryan commented that it sounds acceptable to <br /> Agreement him. The Engineer pointed out that there is no building on one of <br /> the lots that will be assessed, <br /> Agenda <br /> Item No. 22 Mrs, Nardini commented that she asked Mr. Ryan for his tax statement <br /> on the lot without the building and she believes that the assessments <br /> to be levied against this lot will be less than the value of the lot, <br /> The Engineer recommended that the Attorney draw up the agreement. <br /> Mrs. Scalze asked if the City was going to provide an ~~or else~~ <br /> clause in the agreement. <br /> The Engineer stated that this could be added also a completion date <br /> of September 1 can be added, <br /> Fahey stated that the comment that the City in no way by overlaying <br /> the street accepts the street and that Mr. Ryan will accept the <br /> maintenance costs of the street for two years should be included in <br /> the agreement. <br /> Mr. Hanson suggested that the Attorney and Engineer get together and <br /> draft this agreement. <br /> Mrs. Scalze suggested that the issue of curbs also be included. <br /> The Engineer informed the Council that it will be a bituminous lip <br /> curb. <br /> Cable TV Mrs. Nardini informed the Council that she spoke with Tom Curley of <br /> Roseville and Roseville feels that there is so much money involved <br /> Agenda with Cable TV that a member of the Council should represent the <br /> Item No. 23 City on the administration board, In this way there would be constant <br /> contact with the City Council, <br /> Fahey stated that he would like to reserve judgment until the City <br /> reviews the franchise agreement. <br /> Page ..26~ <br /> <br />
