MINUTS?S <br />City Council <br />May 26, 1982 <br />Ri.ce S[reet The Engineer reported that the City has tried to p,et Juli.an M. <br />Watermain Johnson Company started. The Engineer had a meeting with the <br /> Company and the State and the Company has been inf.ormed o£ the <br />Agenda State's t:imetable. <br />Item No. 24 <br /> The Engineer repor[ed that the contract caL1s for a completion <br /> time. <br />Mrs. Nardini commented that the work in the Ryan Development would <br />be crucial so that Mr. Ryan can get his work completed. <br />Ryan The Attorney aslced the Council if. the Council gets a performance <br />Agreement bond from Mr. Kyan if Chere ~ai11 still. be no building permits issued. <br />Mrs. Scalze replied that permi.ts could be i.ssued if the City obtained <br />(Cont.) the Uond. <br />I[ammond Mrs. Nar.dini asked the status of the Hammond situation. The Engineer <br />Property reported that he has not gotten ahold of Mr. Etammond. The City, however, <br /> will be doing some clean-up and the rest of the matter wi.ll have to be <br />Non-Ap,enda settled by Mr. Ilammond with the [datershed District. <br />Item No. 2 <br />Park Mrs. Scalze reported that she has given Council members a copy of the <br />Charge park ordina nce for surrounding communities. <br />Ordinance <br /> Mrs. Scalze stated that she felt the Counczl should review the Ci.ty's <br />Non-Agenda park char.ge ordinance and not have [he Park Commissi.on rewr.ite it. <br />Item No. 3 <br />Mrs. Scalze stated that she felt the percentage tor commercial and <br />industrial property should be lowered to 5% and the charge for residen[ial <br />property lowered to a point where it more evenly represents the $300 <br />parlc charge for a si.ngle family home. <br />Scalze stated that she would like an ordinance that the Council is willing <br />to support. <br />Mrs. Scalze suggested that Council members give it some thought and <br />stated that she will bring the subject up again. <br />Insert In Mrs. Nardini stated that the IIuilding Inspector has written up some <br />Secver Billings things that should be included in the next sewer biilings. Nardini <br />stated that she caill give Councilpersons a copy f.or their review. <br />Non-Agenda <br />Item No. 4 <br />Arush Mr. Forsberg reported that there was a noCice in the Pree Press regarding <br />brush removal.
