Desai. commented that accordi.np to hi.s calculati.ons the people <br />on Dianna Lane orould havF~ to pay ~48.50 per front foot. The I3ngi.neer <br />replied that the f.~igure of $30.00 per f:ront foot i.s predicated on <br />the ent:ire i~nprovement p,oin~ i.n. The cost of the Dianna Lane i.mprove- <br />ment alone would be higher than the ~030.00 fi.gure. 13y including <br />Di.anna i.,ane i.n with other areas of:' Che City, the cost to the D:ianna <br />Lane resi.dents comes down. <br />The Enginear replied that the rc>.ason t,hat the Dianna Lane i.mprovement <br />woulci be more expensi.ve al.one i.; that: Di.anna Lane has a dul-se-sac <br />and three double f.acing lots. <br />The City Clerk aslced i.f: the l.ot: in the Warner Additi.on would be <br />i.ncluded i.n the Di.anna Lane :i.mprovement. 7'he Engi.neer repl.ied [hat <br />it woulcl not zis thi.s 1.ot f.ronts on Keller. Yartaoay. <br />P4rs. Kingstey stated that she understood there o~ere to be tsvo pri.ces, <br />one for. Di.anna Lane wi.th a repaved r.oad and one w:i.r,h a patchecl road. <br />7'he Engi_neer reported that on Di.anna Lane t11e Ci.ty has proposed a <br />enti.rely repaved r.oad. The reason for this i.s T.hat i.n the past the <br />City has just patched in the wacermain and the resident:s of. the <br />area have compl.ai.ned about th:is. <br />Mrs. Scalze pointecl out that Dianna Lane is currentl.y a good sY.reet <br />and suggest:ed C:hat pcrhaps the str.eet could be patched and then seal- <br />coated Che f:oLlow:ln~ year. <br />The Fsngineer reported that the cost of: the new street woul.d be aibout <br />:~30,000.
