MINIJ'i'ES <br />Ci.ty Counci.l <br />Apri.1 27, 1983 <br />Oscar Lane Mr, Fahey suagested that the Counci.l consider a period of. time for <br />Proposal Mr. Lane to relocate his business. Fahey also asked if there are other <br />(ConC.) citi.es who all.ow this type of use as l.ong as it is not a pub].ic <br />nuisance, <br />The Planner stated that he l<new of none anct informed the Council that <br />the C:ity of. Lakeville would not alioco thi.s use i.n an agricultural <br />area. The tlttorney al.so staCed that he Icnew of. no cities that al.lowed <br />thi.s in a residential. area. <br />nr. Lane informed the Council that if: they gave him a period of ti.me <br />to relocate, he would sti.l.l. have to i:al<e an FPA per.mit f.or the busi.ness. <br />Mr. Flanson suggested that the Ci.ty gi.ve Mr. L,ane until the first oL the <br />year Co relocaCe. The Attorney stated that he did noC thinl< the Ci.t:y <br />could g~ive P4r. Lane an extended peri.od of time wi.thout having some <br />problems develop because of. this. <br />Mr.. Pahey stated that he f.el.t the CiT.y could gi.ve Mr. Lane a reasonable <br />period oL ti.me to relocate. Mr. Sweeney stated that a ci.vil c.ourt <br />acCion mip.,ht r.esult i.n Mr. Lane's getti.ng a 90 day relocation period. <br />Mrs. Nard~ini stated that i.f: Mr. Lane's operation is so successful, <br />Mr. I~ane can afford to ].ease a bui.lding.
