MINUTES <br />City Council <br />July 27, 1983 <br />LeMay Road <br />(COnt.) <br />Market <br />Place <br />(Stellick) <br />Mrs. Nardini introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-7-304 - CLOSING <br />THE PUBLIC HEARING ON THE LEMAY ROAD. <br />The foregoinq resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. <br />Ayes (4) Hanson, Fahey, Scalze and Nardini. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book NO. 9, Paqe 336. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-7-305 - REFERRING THE <br />LEMAY ROAD TO THE CITY ENGINEER FOR <br />STUDY AND GETTING A FEA5IBILITY REPORT <br />FROM MR. CARLEY BEFORE SETTING A H~ARING <br />DATE. <br />This foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br />Ayes (4) Hanson, Fahey, Scalze and Nardini. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 9, Page 336. <br />Pursuant to Section 922.020 F of the Municipal Code, a Public Hearing <br />was held to consider the following proposal for the Market Place <br />rezoning and variance. <br />The document presented was Notice of Publication, Page 44 of the <br />agenda. All persons were given an opportunity to be heard con- <br />cerning this matter. Mr. Bob Carrier questioned the liqhting <br />that would come from an addition to the Market Place. <br />Mr. James Stellick, owner of the Market Place appeared before the <br />Council requesting the rezoning of the Market Ylace, 2900 Rice St. <br />from light industrial (L-I) to general business (B-3) so that the <br />present use of the property conform to current zoning. <br />Mr.Stellick also requested a side yard set back variance for ex- <br />pansion of the building to the lot line. <br />Mrs. Nardini introduced the following resolution and moved its adopt;ion: <br />Page 6 <br />
