MINUTES City Council July 27, 1983 Ducharme Mr. John J. Ryan, Land Surveyor, appeared before the Council Additibn representing the Ducharmes in the Gerald and Clara Ducharme Addition. (Cont.) They would like to eliminate the road. Mr. Licht explained why the dedicated road was proposed. Mrs. Nardini introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: R~SOLUTION NO. 83-7-302 - CLOSING THE PUBLIC HEARING ON THE DUCHARME SUB- DIVISION. The foreqoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. Ayes (4J Hanson, Fahey, Scalze and Nardini. Nayes (0). Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 9, Page 335. Mrs. Nardini introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 83-7-303 - APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY PLAT OF THE GERALD AND CLARA DUCHARME ADDITION SUBJECT TO THE RECOM- MENDATIONS OF THE PLANNER'S REPORT OF JUNE 29~ 1983 AND REVIEW BY THE ENGINEER. `i'he foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. Ayes (4) Hanson, Fahey, Scalze and Nardini. Nayes (0). Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution Sook NO. 9, Page 335. LeMay Pursuant to Resolution No. 83-6-267, adopted on June 22, 1983 a Road Public Hearing was held to consider the following improvement proposed by Mr. LeRoy LeMay. The document presented was Notice of Publication, Page 39 of the agenda. All persons were given an opportunity to be heard concerninq this matter. Letters were received from A11en and Kathleen Braham, 3025 Arcade St. and Mrs. Madalen Merritt, 3091 Arcade St. objecting to this improvement. Mr. LeMay appeared before the Council requesting a road running back 350 feet between two pieces of his property. The Council discussed the original grid system for the area and the NSP easement, and whether or not the City could put in a road that would only benefit a private party. Page 5
