MINUTES <br />City Council <br />July 27, 1983 <br />Ducharme Mr. John J. Ryan, Land Surveyor, appeared before the Council <br />Additibn representing the Ducharmes in the Gerald and Clara Ducharme Addition. <br />(Cont.) They would like to eliminate the road. Mr. Licht explained why the <br />dedicated road was proposed. <br />Mrs. Nardini introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />R~SOLUTION NO. 83-7-302 - CLOSING THE <br />PUBLIC HEARING ON THE DUCHARME SUB- <br />DIVISION. <br />The foreqoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. <br />Ayes (4J Hanson, Fahey, Scalze and Nardini. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 9, Page 335. <br />Mrs. Nardini introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 83-7-303 - APPROVING THE <br />PRELIMINARY PLAT OF THE GERALD AND CLARA <br />DUCHARME ADDITION SUBJECT TO THE RECOM- <br />MENDATIONS OF THE PLANNER'S REPORT OF <br />JUNE 29~ 1983 AND REVIEW BY THE ENGINEER. <br />`i'he foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br />Ayes (4) Hanson, Fahey, Scalze and Nardini. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Sook NO. 9, Page 335. <br />LeMay Pursuant to Resolution No. 83-6-267, adopted on June 22, 1983 a <br />Road Public Hearing was held to consider the following improvement <br />proposed by Mr. LeRoy LeMay. <br />The document presented was Notice of Publication, Page 39 of the <br />agenda. All persons were given an opportunity to be heard concerninq <br />this matter. Letters were received from A11en and Kathleen Braham, <br />3025 Arcade St. and Mrs. Madalen Merritt, 3091 Arcade St. objecting <br />to this improvement. <br />Mr. LeMay appeared before the Council requesting a road running back <br />350 feet between two pieces of his property. <br />The Council discussed the original grid system for the area and the <br />NSP easement, and whether or not the City could put in a road that <br />would only benefit a private party. <br />Page 5 <br />
