MINUTES <br />City Council <br />Auqust 10, 1983 <br />Mrs. Scalze Mrs. Scalze stated that we are still getting complaints about <br />semi-trucks turning onto the Spruce St. cul-de-sac instead of <br />turning to the recycling center. She requested a report from <br />Mr. Glanzer as to what type of sign could be used to correct <br />this problem. <br />Mrs. Scalze instructed Mr. Chlebeck and the staff to issue permits <br />for block parties only to residential areas. ~ <br />Mrs. Scalze discussed with the Cowicil the proposed Park siT.es <br />that were included in the agenda correspondence. <br />Mr. t4orelan suqgested that since the Mill Road Park area is to be <br />developed, thati a permanent fence be constructed. The Council <br />requested a report from the Park Commission. <br />No Parking Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />Vanderbie <br />Canadian RESOLUTION NO. 83-7-342 - BANNING PARKING <br />Days ON THE SOUTHFRN PORTION OF VANDERBIE RD. <br />DURIiVG THE CANADIAN DAYS CELEBRATION. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Hanson, Forsberg, Scalze, Nardini and Fahey. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 9, Page 361. <br />Utility The Council discussed the delinquent utility payments on Parcel <br />Account No. 53-55200-023-01. <br />No. 95 <br />~1r. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 83-7-343 - INSTRUCTING THE <br />CLERK TO SEND A LETTER TO THE OWNER OF THIS <br />PROPERTY STATING THAT HIS WATER WILL BE <br />TURNED OFF EFFECTIVE AUGUST 20 UNLESS HE <br />FILES A WRITTEN REQUEST TO THE CLERK FOR <br />RECONSIDERATION OF COUNCIL ACTION AT THE <br />MEETING ON AUGUST 24, 1983. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. <br />Ayes (5) Hanson, Forsberg, Scalze, Nardini and Fahey. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 9, Page 362. <br />Page 8 <br />
