MINUTES <br />Council Meetinq <br />January 25, 1984 <br />Mastell & It was the opinion of the Attorney that this matter was between <br />Nicol (COnt.) the home owners and Insurance Co. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the follocaing resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-1-44 - DIRECTING THE CLERK <br />TO SEND A LETTER TO THE INSURANCE CO. <br />REQUESTING THAT IN THE EVENT THEY ARE <br />UNABLE TO NEGOTIATE~ THEY OFFER TO ARBI- <br />TRATE WITH THE HOME OWNER ON AN INFORMAL <br />BASIS. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze <br />Ayes (5) Hanson, Forsberq, Nardini, Scalze, Fahey. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 10, Page 49. <br />~ttorney Mr. O'Connor reported that a citation was served to the resident <br /> on Co. Rd. D with the outside storage. <br />Attorney- Mrs. Nardini introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />Maplewood <br />Joint Power RESOLUTION NO. 84-1-45 - APPROVING THE JOINT <br />Aqreement POWERS AGREEN~NT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LITTLE <br /> CANADA AND THE CITY OF MAPLEWOOD TO ALLOW THE <br /> CONNECTION OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY WITHIN <br /> THE CITY OF MAPLEWOOD `PO THE LITTLE CANADA <br /> MUNICIPAL SANITARY SEWER AND WATER SYSTEMS. <br /> The foregoinq resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br /> Ayes (5) Hanson, Forsberg, Nardini, Scalze, Fahey. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 11~0, Page 50. <br />Ehgineer Mr. Carley reported that Cub Foods would like t.o install an anti- <br />freeze sprinkler system. St. Paul will noT. allow them, and since <br />we are hooked up indirectly to them, he will have to check this <br />out. <br />Mr. Carley stated that the Stat.e is goinq T.o the LegislaT.ure to <br />qet money for bikeways, and will give it to Ci~ties for sharing. <br />Page 6 <br />
