MINUTES City Council Sanuary 25, 1984 Collova Mr. Collova appeared before the Council with regard to his purchase Property offer for the City property on Demont. on Demont Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved it,s adopT.ion: RESOLUTION NO. 84-1-42 - BRINGING TO TABLE COLLOVA'S OFFER FOR CITY PROPERTY ON DEMONT. The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Nardini. Ayes (5) Hanson, Forsberg, Nardini, Scalze, Fahey. Nayes (0). Resolution declared adopt,ed. This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 10, Page 48. The Council discussed Section 303 of t,he City Code regarding the moving of buildings. Mr.Collova understands that a conditional use permit and a bond wi11 be required. The Council then discussed the purchase agreement with the Attorney and the Planner. Mrs. Nardini introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 84-1-43 - ACCEPTING MR. COLLOVA'S OFFER TO PURCHASE CITY PROPERTY ON DEMONT - PARCEL NO. 53-55200-151-01. The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey. Ayes (5) Hanson, Forsberg, Nardini, Scalze, Fahey. Nayes (0). Resolution declared adopY.ed. This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 10, Page 48. Mr. Collova presented the Council with a retainer check for the property. He was advised to attend the Planning Commission Meeting on February 9, 1984 and the Council MeeYinq on February 22, 1984. Krejci No one appeared at the Council Meeting concerning this matter. Day Care Mastell & Mrs. Dave Mastell and Mrs. Dan Nicol appeared before the Council Nicol concerning the unpaid claim made to the City of Little Canada with regard to the sewage backup in their basements which occurred in July, 1983. They are willing to negoYiage with an arbitrator, but feel they are fair in expecting the full amount of their claims. Page 5
