The Attorney reported that the <br />Agenda incidence of. misdemeanors i.s doorn si.nce the first of. the year. <br />Item No. 17 Al.so a].ot of the types of: cases that the Ci.ty is involved i.n <br />never go to trzal.. <br />Mrs. Scalze stated that the Counci.l felt that perhaps the problem <br />could be elimi.nated in certain ar.eas of the City. Mrs. Scalze <br />suggested that the pr.oUl.em be monitored and if i.t becomes a problem <br />again, the owners of. the bui.ldi.ng should be called in to the Council. <br />Mrs. Nardini aslced that the Counci.l be ~;iven the reports f.rom <br />the Sheri.f.f:'s Department, so that the call.s can be moni.tored. <br />'1'he City CLerlc repli.ed that he wil.l provi.de the Counci.l with the <br />monChLy Sheri.ff.'s r.eports. <br />Ruth & The City Attorney reported that the Commissi.oner of Land has set <br />Demont a vaLue on t.he Ruth and Dem onC property of: $30,000. This was tax- <br />Property forf.eited property that the City had desi.gnated f.or ponding, but <br /> was not usi.ng as such. In oreler to get an unrestri. cted deed on <br />~P~n~~ the property, the City wil.l have to purchase it. <br />Item No. 13 <br /> The AtCOrney reported that ot the $30,000 purchase pri.ce, the City <br /> wi.ll get $4,500 returned. <br />Page -16- <br />
