Collova stated that it shoul.d be his option ~oher.e the house i.s <br />located. <br />Mr. Pahey pointed out that if the City sold the lot to someone else <br />who built a house, the City could not dictaCe the pl.acement of the <br />house. <br />Mr. Hanson stated that the Gity cannot control aestheti.cs with new <br />construction. }lowever~ C.ity Code must be met. Mr. Hanson stated <br />that under the conditi.onal use process~ the City does have more <br />control. Hanson felt that the proper contr.ols were in place, and <br />poi.nted out that if the soil conditions are not suitable, Mr. Coll.ova <br />will have the opti.on of voidi.ng the contract. <br />Mr. 0'I3anion aslced if drainage would be consi.dered. Mrs. Scalze commented <br />that the CiCy has no control of. thi.s as long as setbacks are met. <br />'Che Ci.ty Clerlc reported that the cLosi.ng date on the purchase agreement <br />was March 10 and Mr. Collova has requested that this date be chan~ed <br />to Apri.l 10.
