<br />Ramsey County’s cost participation policy states that sidewalk construction costs are split 50/50 <br />between the County and the City. The consultant for the project is still working on a detailed cost <br />estimate but the estimated cost is in the neighborhood of $700,000, which would mean the City’s <br />share would be approximately $350,000. Work would take place in 2026 and funds could be <br />programmed from the Infrastructure Fund for the work. To date, there are no grant fund <br />opportunities available for this project but if something is released staff will apply for funding. <br /> <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the City Council approve a resolution of support <br />for the addition of sidewalk on the south side of County Road C. <br />
