CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF SIDEWALK ON COUNTY ROAD C <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Little Canada has a need for a sidewalk on the south side of County <br />Road C; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County of Ramsey is converting County Road C from four lanes to three <br />lanes from Rice Street to Little Canada Road in Little Canada in 2026; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, County Road C is located in an area that consists of low-and-moderate income <br />residents in Little Canada and a sidewalk would help safely connect residents of the area to <br />commercial areas and other sidewalk and trail systems in Little Canada; <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, a survey of area residents showed support for sidewalk on the south side <br />of County Road C. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the City of Little Canada City <br />Council fully supports the addition of a six-foot sidewalk along the south boulevard of <br />County Road C between Rice Street and Little Canada Road. <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted by the Council this 18th day of December, 2024. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Thomas Fischer, Mayor <br /> <br />Attest: <br /> <br /> __________________________________ <br /> Christopher Heineman, City Administrator
