Aunde reported that the shed i.s curr.ently under construction at <br />his o~an ri.slc. 73unde also repor.ted that there is no f.oundation or <br />f.ootings for, the bui.lding. P1r. I~tande reported that he pur.chased the <br />materi.ais for the shed :in May and was [aced wi.th tkte materi,als warping <br />and spl.i.ting. ThereLore, he deci.ded to bepin the construction at his <br />own rislc. I3unde also pointed out that w:inter is approaching qui.etcly. <br />Mr.. Tahey astced if Mr. 13unde had any problems with combi.ni.n~; the <br />propert~ies, once his contract-Lor-deed i.s satisfied. Mr. Bunde <br />replied that he di.d not. <br />?9r. l~orsberg asked how the Ci.ty could ensure that the properti.es would <br />be combi.ned when the contr.act was paict ofL. It was pointed otit that <br />the contract had nine years to run. Pahey stated that that would Ue <br />a pol.icy decision for the Council i.n existence in nine years. <br />Mrs. Nardi.ni aslced Mr. 13un<te why he did not place the shed on the <br />lot with r.oad f.rontap,e. Mr. f3unde repli.ed that he was placing the <br />building where he was due to the type o£ building and the setting. <br />Ilunde reportecl that there is a natural grade in the area so that <br />the buildi.ng is setti.ng six Peet below grade and he will screen the <br />tiop of the building that is sticlcing out> Runde stated [:hat he will. <br />matce the buildinp, as unobjecti_onable as possi.ble. <br />Mr. Fahey poinCed out that Chere were not suffici.ent votes present <br />for passage of the request. Therefore, tlie. matter should be tabled <br />until the meeting in October when Che Mayor i.s present. <br />24rs. Nardi.ni poi.nted out that the Ci.ty allowed this property to be <br />cli.vided and thus created illegal 1ots. Mr. Pahey stated that i.t ~oas <br />not ruled out that a road could ~o in the baclc of these lots and give <br />them street frontage. Mrs, Scalze pointed out that anythin~ of thi.s <br />nature would have to come beLore the Council for approval. <br />hir.s.
