Fahey opened the worlcshop meeti.ng, the purpose oE whiz;h i.s to consi.der <br />the area bordered by Centervil.l.e Road on the west, DeSoto on Che east, <br />?4ontreal Courts on the south and County Road D, Mr. Pahey exp].ai.ned that <br />th~is area was identi.fi.ed i_n 1.979 when the City's Comprehensi.ve Plan was <br />adopl:ed, as left open £or Lurther study. Mr. Tahey exp1.ained that <br />the City has i.nvi.ted al.l. property owners i.n the area plus property <br />oo~ners wi.Chi.n 350 feee of Che area. <br />Mr. Pahey also reported that Che Ci.ty has been approached by several <br />develoners who are interesCed in bui.lcling i.n this area, an<t, therefore, <br />Counci.l. felt that the ti.me taas appropri.ate to considcr the zoni.ng of: <br />the nroperty. <br />D1r. 1?ahey f.elt that the Council has received indication that there is <br />an even spl.i.t oE people as to the zoning of. this proper•ty.
