Anderson <br />replied that it was. Anderson stated tha[ he originally wanted ehree <br />lots, but Maple~vood has suggested che density he is proposing, <br />Scalze stated that she did not feel it ri.ght for a developer to annex <br />proPerey for a profit. <br />C•ahey seated that he sti11 had no problem with the proposal provided <br />Anderson pay 100% of his assessments. Fahey stated that the City would <br />gain more properCy and additional taxes. <br />Scalze felt that Maplecoood should be involved in this before Little <br />Canada is. Scalae stated that she was opposed to the proposal. <br />Messrs. IILesener and Collova stated that they were willi.ng to explore <br />the proposal. Nardini stated that she was noC opposed as long as <br />Maplewood is agreeable. <br />Pahey aslced if this caere an expens~ive pr.ocess for the City. The Attorney <br />replied that ie was not. Tahey felt that the requestor of the annexation <br />should reimburse the City for any fees involved. <br />Mr. Prank Frattalone stated that the proposal made no difference to him, <br />but pointed out that he is currently having his property replatted and <br />asked if this annexation would effect the replatting. 'Lhe Planner <br />replied that the replat would probably be complete by the time the <br />annexation came about. <br />Mr. Lee Rossell of Comfort llus Company appeared before the Council <br />requesting approval of site plans for his company. Kossell stated that: <br />they currently have 17 active buses and parking for 26. Eventually, <br />they would lil<e to have 30 buses. <br />Mr. Rossell stated that he had no problems with the planner.'s <br />recommer~dations. <br />Mrs. Scalze asked if Rossell planned on blacktopping. Rossell replied <br />that they c{id eventually. <br />Mr. Pahey stated thati the bun parlcing area should be blacktopped by <br />1986.
