DeLonais stated that Chere is not only the cost o£ the land i.nvolved, Uut the improvement of Ch~ property, and the additional personnel requi.red to maintai.n the properCy. Mr. Costa stated that the Ci.ty's proposal i.nvolves 16 acres of i.ndustrial land. Costa est:imaCed that this would be a loss of revenue oL $300,000 per year for Che City i.n tar,es. Costa stated that thi.s is raisi.ng taxes in the City and the Ci.ty cannot afPord to lose .~p300,000 in taxes per year. Costa pointed out that the f:ields at Ke ll.ogg are available Lor sale ~nd nol:.hing has been done. Fahey suggested that the City may want Co buy the iCellog~; f:ields i.n addition to the fieLds proposed for the Centerville Road area. Mr. Costa aslced Che fi.gures i.nvolved in the purchase of the Centcrville Road area property. i1r.
