MINUTES <br />City Council <br />Oct. 23, 1985 <br />Tom's Auto Mr. Fahey suggested that the Building Inspector look at the site and <br />Sa1es (Cont.) perhaps have a chat with the owner. <br />Budget Ms. Nardini pointed out that there are cars parked in the center area <br />Auto of Budget Auto and this was not allowed. Fahey suggested that the <br /> Building Inspector look at this site as well. <br />Agenda <br />Addition <br />Sunrise The Engineer reported that the person living on the south side of <br />Drive Sunrise Drive has a swale but the person on the north side does not. <br />Drainage Mr. Blesener reporrPd that he Peels the problem in th~s area is that <br />( t~,e arainage ditch needs to be defined. The Engineer felt that the <br />Ngenda ditch needed to be maintained. <br />Item No. 13 <br />The Engineer felt that the area should be swaled and sodded. Mr. <br />Carley also reported that he felt the man who built the house should <br />do this. The Clerk stated that the property owner wants to do the <br />work, but the County has indicated that they may do something. <br />Mr. Blesener felt that the problem was on Edgerton. The Clerk stated that <br />water does not get through Sunrise Drive. <br />Fahey indicated that the City Clerk and Engineer should get together <br />and work out the problem. <br />Ballfields Mrs. Scalze indicated that Bi11 Sanders of the Park Commission will <br />contact the Corps of Engineers regarding ponding at the Mosted and <br />Agenda Johnson sites. The City C1erk presented the Council:with a map <br />Item No. 11 showing the ponding that the Corps is requesting. <br />The Engineer indicated that the Corps does not care where on the <br />site the ponding is located, but so there is the amount of ponding <br />that they are requesting. <br />The City Attorney suggested that if it is an engineer that would be <br />contacted at the Corps, the City Engineer be the one to make the <br />contact. <br />Mrs. Scalze reported that she wi11 have Bill Sanders contact the <br />City Engineer on this matter and they can develop a logical lay out <br />to present to the Corps of Engineers. <br />Mosted & The City Attorney reported that Mrs. Mosted is out of town and has not <br />Johnson responded to the City's offer on her property. A1so, Mr. Johnson is <br />Properties making some requests regarding the City's offer for his property, and <br />the City Attorney has requested that Johnson put these requests in <br />Agenda writing for presentation to the Council. <br />Addition <br />Page -22- <br />
