MINUTES <br />City Council <br />Oct. 23, 1985 <br />Pianner & The Building Inspector stated that he felt 24 feet was too narrow <br />Building for commercial development. However, when such a plat comes in, he <br />Inspector would refer it to the Engineer. <br />1Cont.) <br />Nardini suggested that the Building Inspector and the Planner get <br />together and discuss revisions to the ordinance. <br />Mr. Fahey also felt that the Planner should continue to attend the <br />Planning Commission meetings. <br />Mrs. Scalze suggested that a policy statement be put together on the <br />duties of the Planner and Building Inspector. Mr. Fahey suggested <br />that the City Clerk draft the policy statement and give a copy to <br />the Planner and the Building Inspector. This policy will be effective <br />immediately. <br />Nardini suggested that the Council review the policy at the next Council <br />meeting. <br />The Planner also pointed out that all interoffice correspondence is <br />not necessary for public distribution. Mr. Fahey agreed. <br />Dupre The Building Inspector reported that he has sent two letters to Mr. <br />Drainage Dupre on his drainage problem and neither letter has been responded <br />to. The Building Inspector reported that in the second letter he <br />A~enda informed Mr. Dupre that if he did not respond appropriate legal action <br />Item No. 17 would be taken. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 85-10-520 - REFERRING THE DOPRE <br />DRAINAGE MATTER TO THE CITY ATTORNEY FOR <br />APPROPRIATE LEGAL ACTION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Ms. Nardini. <br />Ayes ~5) Fahey, Nardini, Scalze, Collova, Blesener. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 12, Page 549. <br />Tom's Mrs. Scalze reported that she looked at Tom's Auto Sales the other <br />Auto Sales day and there were about 14 or 15 ca rs on the 1ot. A1so, there were <br /> bashed-in cars that were not covered . Scalze reported that it is <br />Agenda impossible to turn around in the lot and a car has to back out of the <br />Addition lot onto County Road C when leaving the site. Scalze also pointed out <br /> that there were only going to be two or three cars on the lot and that <br /> any bashed-in cars would be covered at all tim es. <br />Page -21- <br />
