MINUTES City Council April 23, 1986 Hose For Jetter Agenda Item No. 15 Mr. Blesener reported that Public Works needs to purchase some hose for its jetting machine. Public ldorks has received two quotations, the low one being in the amount of $1,296, and is anticipating getting a third. Blesener recommended that the purchase be approved to a maximum of $1,296. Mr. B1esener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 86-4-163 - APPROVING TNE PURCHASE OF 600 FEET OF ONE-INCH NEAVY DUTY SEWER CLEANING HOSE BY THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT AT A PIAXIMUM PURCHASE PRICE OF $1,290 The foregoing res~lution was duly seconded by Ms. Nardini. Ayes (5) Blesener, Nardini, Collova, Scalze, Fahey. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 13, Page 166. Bid For Mrs. Scalze reported that the Park Commission recently called for Trail Work bids on bituminous trail and parking area construction at Gervais Mill Park. The following bids were received: Agenda Item No. 16 Buck Blacktop $23,843 Bituminous Roadways $31,811 Ideal Paving $21,661. Scalze reported that Bill Sanders has checked the references of Ideal Paving and they were acceptable. Mr. Fahey asked if the parking lot will tie in with the proposed ballfields in the area. Jim Morelan replied that this parking wi11 be separate from the ballfields. P4rs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 86-4-164 - AWARDING THE LOW BID OF IDEAL PAVING, INC. IN TNE AMOUNT OF $21,661 BITUf~I~lOUS TRAIL AND P~RKING AREA CONSTRUCTION AT GERVAIS MILL PARK The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey.
