MINUTES <br />City Council <br />April 23, 1986 <br />Little The City Attorney reported that P4N DOT has approved the easements <br />Canada Rd. necessary to acquire right-of-N~ay in the Little Canada Road bridge <br />Bridge widening project. There will be four permanent easements necessary. <br />Project <br />The Attorney further reported that the appraiser will begin working <br />Agenda on the acquisitions and, hopefully, these easements can be presented <br />Item No. 12 to the property owners in about three weeks. <br />Mosted- P1r. Fahey reported that the Park Commission is coordinating the <br />Johnson planting of trees on the Mosted-Johnson property. This work should <br />Property be completed by May 15. <br />Agenda <br />Addition <br />Future The City Engineer presented the Council a summary sheet on future <br />Improvements storm sewer, street, sewer, and watermain improvements in the City. <br />,'1g;~nda The City Clerk reported that separate pub lic hearings will be needed <br />Item No. 13 for storm sewer and curb and gutter. <br /> The Engineer recommended that the public hearing on drainage district <br /> improvements be held on Tuesday, May 13, at 7:00 P.M. at the Little <br /> Canada School. <br />Borings On The City Clerk reported that the City has received a contract from <br />Payne Avenue. Brown Engineering to do soil borings on Payne Avenue in the amount <br />of $1,250. These borings are needed. to determine the cause of the <br />Agenda breakup of Payne Avenue and what can be done to correct the problem. <br />Item No. 13 <br />The Engineer felt that the proposal was a reasonable one. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 86-4-162 - APPROVING THE CONTRACT <br />WITN BROWN ENGINEERI~IG TO DO SOIL BORINGS ON <br />PAYNE AVENUE TO DETERMINE WHAT WILL BE NECESSARY <br />TO SATISFACTORILY REPAIR THE ROAD AND AUTHORIZING <br />THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO SIGN THE CONTRACT ON <br />BEHALF OF THE CITY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br />Ayes (51 Blesener, Scalze, Fahey, Nardini, Collova. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 13, Page 1h5. <br />Page -16- <br />
