P~INUTES
City Council
April 23, 1986
Jackson Street John Daubney, representing Thomas Judd, an adjacent property owner
Vacation to Jackson Street, indicated that there should be an adjustment in
(Cont.) the radius of the cul-de-sac for Bluwood Avenue as on August 12, 1981
the Council vacated 10 feet of the road right-of-way on the south
side of the streets for Lot 1 and 2.
Mr. Daubney reported that his client felt that the vacation as
proposed by the Engineer was a fair and adequate plan.
Fahey questioned whether it was necessary to retain a 20-foot easement
and asked if a 10-foot easement would be sufficient. The Engineer
felt that the 20-foot easement should be retained due to the power
line and phone cable in the area and the possibility of running
storm sewer through this area.
Fahey asked if the easement would effect the property going on the
tax rolls. The City Attorney did not think so.
There was no one else from the audience wishing to address this
matter.
Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION N0. 86-4-150 - CLOSING TNE PUBLIC
HEARING ON THE ~ROPOSED JACKSON STREET VACATION
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Ms. Nardini.
Ayes (5) Blesener, Nardini, Collova, Fahey, Scalze.
Nays (0).
Resolution declared adopted.
This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 13, Page 151.
Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION N0. 86-4-151 - VACATING JACKS0~1 STREET
FROM THE SOUTH LINE OF BLUWOOD AVENUE (CENTRAL
AVENUE) TO COUNTY ROFlD C RESERVIPJG THE WEST 20
FEET FOR A UTILITY, I~IALKIdAY AND DRAINAGE EASE~IENT
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO PREPARE THE
NECESSARY EASEMENT
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Ms. Nardini.
Ayes (5) Qlesener, Nardini, Collova, Fahey, Scalze.
Nays (Q).
Resolution declared adopted.
This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 13, Page 152.
Page -4-
