MINUTES City Council May 14, 1986 Sherman Oaks Add (Cont.) Mr. Collova pointed out that from November to April there are no leaves on the trees and the visibility may change. Mrs. Scalze asked if the City has copies of the DNR correspondence on this development. The Planner replied that he attended the meetings between the DNR and the developers and has submitted letters to the City in this regard. Mr. Rutzick presented cross-sections the buildings and also a rendering of how the building will look. Scalze asked what materials will be used on the outside of the building. Mr. Johnson replied that brick, cedar and glass will be used on the outside of the buildings. The developers presented an earlier rendering of the buildings and pointed out that the facade has changed somewhat as well as the roof line. Mrs. Scalze commented that she would like to see more brick used on the outside of the building. Other Coiancilpersons were satisfied with the buildings as presented. It was the concensus of the Council that the roof line as presented tonight was preferable to the earlier one. Scalze asked the status of the mailing to City residents on the issue of senior citizen housing. Mr. Johnson replied that the materials are at the printers and he just picked up the labels today. Scalze indicated that the mailing should go to all residents of the City. There was no one else wishing to comment on the Sherman Oaks Addition preliminary plat. Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 86-5-172 - CLOSING THE PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PRELIMINARY PLAT OF THE SHERMAN OAKS ADDITION The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Collova. Ayes (5) Blesener, Collova, Nardini, Scalze, Fahey. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 13, Page 164.
