MINUTES City Council May 14, 1986 Cable TV The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. (Cont.) Ayes (5) Nardini, Scalze, Fahey, Collova, Blesener. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 13, Pages 172 through 174. Ms. Nardini introduced the following resolution and mvoed its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 86-5-177 - AUTHORIZIN6 DON TARNOWSKI TO PURCHASE A TUNER IN THE AMOUNT OF $60.00 IN ORDER TO PUT WCCO MUSIC ON THE CITY'S CABLE CHANNEL The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Blesener. Ayes (5) Nardini, Blesener, Scalze, Collova, Fahey. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 13, Page 175. Mr. Tarnowski reported that in addition to the live broadcase of tonight's Council meeting, he is suggesting that the meeting be rebroadcast. It was the concensus of the Council that the City staff should decide on an appropriate time for rebroadcast of the Council meeting. Council felt that the rebroadcast should be done in a timely fashion, however. Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 86-5-178 - AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK AND CITY STAFF TO DETERMINE AN APPROPRIATE TIME TO REBROADCAST CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS ON CABLE TV The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. Ayes (5) Fahey, Scalze, Nardini, Blesener, Collova. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 13, Page 176. Tarnowski suggested that the City obtain a tape of the interview of candidates in the School Board Election that was done by the League of Women Voters and rebroadcast this tape on the City's channel. Tarnowski also suggested that the City interview the candidates in the District 54 election and broadcast this tape. Page -6-
