Ho!~~ever, asked if there ~vas sufficient <br />room for stackinc cars in this area, <br />Ilasel< replied that there 3~as room for four cars and felt this <br />saas sufficient. <br />The Planner felt that it ~das a typical parking lot arrangement and <br />sa~a no ~roblem. <br />The Planner also felt that the City should enter into a dave1opment <br />agreement s~ith Nardees at this time, rather than s,iaiting until the <br />rest of the propert,y develops. <br />Ilase~ as!ced if the Council wanted the road~~ia,y easement upgraded <br />with the first development pro~~osal, or at the time the property <br />totall,y develops. <br />Fahey stated that he would assume that this roadway woulci be used <br />rig'nt a~aay and fe7t it shoulcl be upyraded and completed with the <br />Flardees proposal. <br />Scalze stat2d that she e~~oulci not vote for the t~~~o accesses to <br />Rice Street. <br />Fahey saw no probl^m with the tr~o accesses as lony as the middle <br />one vaas ri ght-turn i n anci out only. <br />Sca1ze felt that if there is an access across from =loodbridge, it <br />should be the same size as ~loocibridge. <br />Nardini stated that she evould li!<e to see the road benind Nardees <br />upgrad2ci and vro~.ild only like to see one access to Rice Street. <br />7he City Attorney pointed out that tl~is north-south street is <br />outside the property being considered I~y 'rlardees. <br />Scalze pointed. oi.it that the property is all od~aned hy Mr. Schroeder. <br />The 14ttorney stated that the development agreement G~ould have to <br />include more land t'nan Flardees is processing. <br />Scalze pointed out that tiie City Planner has recommended only <br />one access to Rice Street and that the stop sign on Y~linnesota and <br />Page -15- <br />
