MINUTES <br />City Council <br />July 23, 1986 <br />Tennis Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />Courts <br />(Cont.) RESOLUTION N0. 86-7-345 - CALLING FOR <br />INFORMAL QUOTATIONS FOR RESURFACING <br />AND RECOATING OF THE TENNIS COURTS IN <br />SPOONER PARK <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Collova. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Collova, Nardini, Blesener, Fahey. <br />Nays (O). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 15, Page 403. <br />Letter To Ms. Nardini introduced the following resolution and moved its adotion: <br />Howie <br />Prudhomme RESOLUTION N0. 86-7-346 - DIRECTING THE <br />CITY CLERK TO SEND A THANK-YOU LETTER TO <br />Agenda HOWIE PRUDHOMME FOR PURCHASING AND PLANTING <br />Item No. 30b FLOWERS IN SPOONER PARK <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Nardini, Scalze, Blesener, Collova, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 15, Page 404. <br />Blacktop Scalz_e reported that the Park Comnission is planning blacktop <br />Trails In tra~ls in Gervais Mill park that will begin at Edgerton and go <br />Gervais to Spooner Park. This work has been held up over the past few <br />Mill Park years as the Park Commission was trying to obtain grant money <br />to do the work. However, the Park Commission is now planning <br />Agenda to go ahead. <br />Addition <br />Scalze reported that the Watershed is requiring that the City <br />silt-screen along the pond during the construction process and <br />that a longer pipe be installed under the trail and into the <br />creek. <br />Scalze stated that the cost of the trail work is estimated at <br />$20,000, but there will be a change-order due to the requirements <br />of the Watershed. <br />Bill Quirin Mr. Fahey pointed out that Bill Quirin has resigned as Chairman <br />Resignation of the Economic Development Committee. Fahey accepted the <br />resignation with regrets and stated that he appreciated Mr. <br />Agenda Quirin's willingness to serve the City in the past. <br />Item No. 31 <br />Page -22- <br />
