MINUTES <br />City Council <br />July 23, 1986 <br />Bond Sale <br />(Cont.) <br />Farnham requested that the Council pass a resolution certifying the <br />amount of money that will be needed annually on the State Aid bond <br />issue. <br />Farnham also reported that the City will close on the bonds in about <br />20 days and he will make the necessary arrangements. <br />Ms. Nardini introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 86-7-325 - CERTIFYING TO <br />COMMISSIONER OF TRANSPORTATION AMOUNT OF <br />MONEY REQUIRED ANNUALLY FOR PAYMENT OF <br />PRINCIPAL AND INTEREST ON GENERAL OBLIGATION <br />STATE-AID STREET BONDS OF 1986 <br />Bids For <br />Imp. Nos <br />86-12, <br />86-13, <br />85-2 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) Nardini, Blesener, Collova, Scalze, Fahey. <br />tdays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 15, Pages 379 thru 382. <br />The City Engineer reported that the Council recently took bids on <br />Imp. No. 86-13, Centerville Road Storm Sewer; 86-12, Thunder Bay <br />Storm Sewer Ponding; and 85-2, County Road B-2 Lift Station. <br />The City received four bids and they are as follows: <br />Agenda Park Construction $228,305.50 <br />Item No. 5 D. N. Blattner & Sons $178,555.00 <br />Lake Area Utility $335,618.00 <br />C. W. Houle, Inc. $177,395.25 <br />The Engineer recommended that the low bid of C. W. Houle, Inc. be <br />awarded. <br />Mrs. Scalze reported that the Park Commission would like some <br />coordination of the Thunder Bay pond placement and trails planned <br />for this area. Scalze suggested that Bill Sanders be given a <br />copy of the plans and that Sanders and the City Engineer work <br />together on this issue. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 86-7-325 - ACCEPTING THE <br />BID OF C.
