MINUTES City Council Jan. 5, 1987 Planning Therefore, by vote of the Council Thomas Perlinger, Sharon Timmons, Commission and Art Herkenhoff were appointed to three-year terms on the Appointments Planning Commission commencing January l, 1987. (Cont.) Park Fahey reported that the terms of office of Jim Morelan, Elaine Zoch, Commission and Jack Fitzgerald on the Park Commission expired on December 31, Appointments 1986. The City advertised these vacancies and received applications from Jack Fitzgerald, Elaine Zoch and Jim Morelan. Mr. Collova introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 87-1-9 - APPOINTING JACK FITZGERALD, JIM MORELAN, AND ELAINE ZOCN TO THREE-YEAR TERMS ON THE PARK COMMISSION COP~MEhCING JANUARY 1, 1987 The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. Ayes (5) Collova, Scalze, LaValle, Blesener, Fahey. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 17, Page 9. Liaison To PQr. Fahey reported that he has been requested to serve as the City's Vadnais liaison to the Vadnais Heights/Little Canada Chamber of Commerce. Heights Fahey reported that he is willing to serve should he receive Little authorization from his employer. Canada Chamber Mr. Blesener reported that should Mr. Fahey be unable to serve, Of Commerce he would be willing. Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 87-1-10 - APPOINTING MICHAEL FAHEY AS THE COUNCIL LIAISON TO THE VADNAIS HEIGHTS/LITTLE CANADA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE The foreqoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Collova. Ayes (5) Scalze, Collova, Fahey, Blesener, LaValle. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 17, Page 10. 1987 Mr, alesener suggested that action on the 1987 Planner's contract Planner's be tabled until the Planner is present. Contract Page -6-
