MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />February 25, 1987 <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the <br /> Council of the City of Little Canada, Min nesota was held on the <br /> 25th day of February, 1987 in the Council Chambers of the City <br /> Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Agenda Mayor Michael Fahey chaired the meeting a nd called it to order <br />Iter.a No. 1 at 7:30 P.M. and the following members of the Council were present <br /> at roll call: <br />Agenda MEMBERS PRESEPlT: Mayor Mr. Michael Fahey <br />Item No. 2 Councilman Mr. William Blesener <br /> Councilman Mr. Rick Collova <br /> Councilman Mr. Jim LaValle <br /> Councilwoman Mrs. Beverly Scalze <br /> ALSO PRESENT: City Clerk Mr. Joseph Chlebeck <br /> City Attorney Mr. Thomas Sweeney <br /> Consulting Engineer Mr. Donald Carley <br /> City Planner Mr. Steve Grittman <br /> Recording Secretary Mrs. Kathleen Glanzer <br />Addition Mr. Fahey reported that on Tuesday, February 24, a workshop was <br />To Little held with the Council, Park Commission, Recreation Department, <br />Canada Recreation Association and School District to discuss the issue <br />[lementary of the purchase of Spooner Park as well as the City's participation <br />School with the School District in the construction of an addition to <br />Little Canada Elementary School which would include an enlarged <br />Agenda gymnasium and recreational facilities. Fahey reported that a <br />Addition committee of Ken Worley, Rick Collova, Jack Fitzgerald, Jim Morelan, <br />Diane Husak and two representatives of the Recreation Association <br />was set up to study the proposal and make a recommendation to the <br />Council at the first meeting in April. <br />Fahey invited members of the public to forward their thoughts or <br />ideas on the proposals to either the Council or members of the <br />Committee. <br />Minutes Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />Agenda RESOLUTION N0. 87-2-70 - APPROVING THE <br />Item No. 3 MINUTES OF THE FEBRUARY 11, 1987 REGULAR <br />COUNCIL MEETING AS SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Blesener, Collova, LaValle, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 17, Page 74. <br />Page -1- <br />
