MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />JANUARY S, 2025 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City Council of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota was convened on the 8th day of January 2025 in the Council Chambers of the City Center <br />located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Tom Fischer called the meeting to order at 7:32 p.m. and the following members of the City <br />Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Fischer, Council Members Malone, Kwapick, Gutierrez and Miller. <br />Absent: None. <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Chris Heineman, Community Relations Manager Lauran <br />Linehan, Community Development Director Ben Harrington, City Clerk/HR Manager Heidi Heller, <br />and Finance Director Sam Magureanu <br />ADMINISTER OATH OF OFFICE TO NEWLY ELECTED OFFICIALS <br />The City Clerk administered the Oath of Office to Mayor Fischer, Kwapick, and Malone. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Miller introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2025-1-1— APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE DECEMBER 18, <br />2024, WORKSHOP AND THE DECEMBER 18, 2024, REGULAR MEETINGS AS <br />SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Gutierrez. <br />Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />The Community Relations Manager announced upcoming events including open pickleball, skating <br />rinks, and information on Christmas tree pickup. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />None. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />Kwapick introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2025-1-2 — APPROVING THE CONSENT A GENDA WHICH <br />CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING. - <br />Approval of the Vouchers <br />• Approve 2025 Designation of Data Practices Responsible Authority — Compliance <br />Official, Ratify City Procedures for Access to Public & Private Data and Approve Paper <br />or Electronic Formats as Official City Records <br />• Approve Designation of Pioneer Press as the City's Legal Newspaper for 2025 <br />
