MINUTES City Council April 8, 1987 Spooner Scalze pointed out that the survey work needs to be completed so Park (Cont.) that an appraisal can be done for submission with a grant application to purchase the property. The City Attorney indicated that he will advise the appraiser of the deadline. Neighborhood Fahey reported that the City has received no applications for Advisory appointment to the Neighborhood Advisory Committee to the Committee Roseville School District. Agenda Mr. Blesener indicated that he would be willing to serve on the Comnittee. Item No. lla Road Mr. Blesener indicated that road restrictions will come off on Monday. Restrictions Agenda Addition One-Ton ~' Blesener reported that the Utility Department has received two bids Dump Truck for a one-ton dump truck. However, one of the bids contains restric- tions and cannot be accepted. The other bid was received from Hgenda ~iking GMC in the amount of $12,978, and it is the recommendation Addition of the Utility Department that this bid be awarded. Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 87-4-144 - ACCEPTING AND APPROVING THE BID OF VIKING GMC IN THE AMOUNT OF $12,978 FOR THE PURCHASE OF A ONE-TON PICK-UP TRUCK The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by D1rs. Scalze. Ayes (5) Blesener, Scalze, Collova, Fahey, LaValle. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 17, Page 157. 1987 Tree The City has received only one bid for tree removal for 1987, and Removal that was from Precision Landscaping. The City's Tree Inspector Contract has recommended that the bid be awareded to Precision Landscaping. ,4genda Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: Item No. 12a RESOLUTION N0. 87-4-145 - ACCEPTING AND APPROVING TNE BID OF PRECISION LANDSCAPING FOR 1987 TREE REMOVAL BASED ON THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE CITY'S TREE INSPECTOR Page -32-
