MINUTES City Council D1ay 27 , 1987 Finkelson There was no one from the general public wishing to comment on the Prelininary Finkelson preliminary plat. Plat (Cont.l P1r. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 87-5-226 - CLOSING THE PUBLIC HEARING ON THE FINKELSON PRELIP4INARY PLAT The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. LaValle. Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Scalze, Collova, Fahey. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 17, Page 244. Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 87-5-227 - APPROVING THE FI~IKELSON PRELIMIPIARY PLAT AS SUBMITTED SUBJECT TO TNE RECOP9P9ENDATIONS OF THE CITY PLAPI~IER, CITY ATTOR~IEY AND CITY ENGINEER The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. LaValle. Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Fahey, Collova, Scalze. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 17, Page 245. Leibel Fahey opened the public hearing on the Leibel variance request to Variance construct a dwelling on a lot with less than 75 feet abutting a public street. The property in question is located behind 122, Agenda 128 and 134 Twin Lake Road. Item Plo. 9 Fahey pointed out that the Planning Commission and Planner have recommended approval of the variance request. Fahey reported that he was presented with two letters from Nir. Ernest Larson, property owner of 122 Twin Lake Road, opposing the variance. These letters were read into the record. Fahey asked if Mr. Leibel has been able to obtain the necessary easements to provide road access for 140 Twin Lake Blvd. to the road. Jim Leibel, representing the applicant, Bob Leibel, appeared before the Council and reported that they are trying to acquire the necessary property to provide access for lA0 Twin Lake Blvd. to the road.
