MINUTES <br />City Council <br />D1ay 27 , 1987 <br />Finkelson There was no one from the general public wishing to comment on the <br />Prelininary Finkelson preliminary plat. <br />Plat (Cont.l <br />P1r. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 87-5-226 - CLOSING THE <br />PUBLIC HEARING ON THE FINKELSON PRELIP4INARY <br />PLAT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Scalze, Collova, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 17, Page 244. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 87-5-227 - APPROVING THE <br />FI~IKELSON PRELIMIPIARY PLAT AS SUBMITTED <br />SUBJECT TO TNE RECOP9P9ENDATIONS OF THE <br />CITY PLAPI~IER, CITY ATTOR~IEY AND CITY ENGINEER <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Fahey, Collova, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 17, Page 245. <br />Leibel Fahey opened the public hearing on the Leibel variance request to <br />Variance construct a dwelling on a lot with less than 75 feet abutting a <br />public street. The property in question is located behind 122, <br />Agenda 128 and 134 Twin Lake Road. <br />Item Plo. 9 <br />Fahey pointed out that the Planning Commission and Planner have <br />recommended approval of the variance request. <br />Fahey reported that he was presented with two letters from Nir. Ernest <br />Larson, property owner of 122 Twin Lake Road, opposing the variance. <br />These letters were read into the record. <br />Fahey asked if Mr. Leibel has been able to obtain the necessary <br />easements to provide road access for 140 Twin Lake Blvd. to the <br />road. <br />Jim Leibel, representing the applicant, Bob Leibel, appeared before <br />the Council and reported that they are trying to acquire the necessary <br />property to provide access for lA0 Twin Lake Blvd. to the road. <br />Page -5- <br />
