There uias no one present from the general public wishing to comment <br />on the Carlson variance request. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 87-5-224 - CLOSING THE <br />PUBLIC HEARIPIG ON TNE RON CARLSON REOUEST <br />FOR A SIDEYARD SETBACK VARIANCE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Collova. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Collova, LaValle, Blesener, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 17, Page 242. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTIOPI ~10. 87-5-225 - GRANTING A <br />SIDEYARD SETBACK VARIANCE OF 20 FEET FOR P9R. <br />RON CARLS0~1 FOR LOT 10, 6LOCK 2, SOUTHERN <br />SLOPES ADDITION, BASED ON THE FACT THAT THE <br />COUPJCIL PREVIOUSLY GRANTED TNE SAME VARIAPdCE <br />ON THIS PROPERTY FOR MR. DUKOI~JITZ AND THAT <br />THE LOT WAS CREATED BY THE CITY WITH AN <br />UNUSUAL SHAPE AND THAT I~l ALL PROBABILITY <br />THE STREET b!ILL NEVER BE EXTENDED A~!D SUBJECT <br />TO THE CONDITION THAT NO FURTHER SPLIT OF THE <br />LOT OR VARIANCES WILL BE GRANTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Blesener, Collova, LaValle, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book Plo. 17, Page 243. <br />Finkelson Mayor opened the Public Hearing to consider the preliminary plat <br />Preliminary submitted by Norm Finkelson for a four lot subdivision to be known <br />Plat as Finkelson Estates, with two lots fronting on Sylvan Street and <br />two lots fronting on Spruce Street. <br />The Planning Commission and the City Planner have recommended <br />approval of the preliminary plat which meets code in all respects. <br />Page -4- <br />
