RESOLUTIONS <br />City Council <br />May 27, 1987 <br />Leibel The City Attorney reported that according to the Code the City <br />Variance could require that the driveway easement be blacktoppedif it so <br />(Cont.1 desired. <br />Fasciana pointed out that under the proposal the amount of traffic <br />on the road will be reduced. <br />P1r. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 87-5-229 - GRANTING BOB LEIBEL <br />A VAP.IAPICE TO CONSTRUCT A DuIELLING ON A LOT <br />tdITH LESS THAN 75 FEET AQUTTING A PUBLIC STREET <br />PROVIDED THAT MR. LEIBEL OBTAINS ACCESS FOR 1~0 <br />TWIN LAKE BLVD. TO TWIN LAKE BLVD., PROVIDED <br />THAT LEIBEL OBTAIMS A MINIMUM OF 30 FEET OF <br />EASEMEDIT TO HIS PROPERTY, PROVIDED THAT 134 <br />TWIN LAKE BLVD. PURCHASES THE PROPERTY BEHIND <br />THAT LOT AS SHOb1N ON THE DIAGRAM PRESENTED BY <br />LEIBFL, SUBJECT TO THE DRIVEWAY EASEP~ENT BEING <br />IMPROVED WITH DUST-FREE PIATERIAL, NOT NECESSARILY <br />BLACKTOP, AT A MINIMUM, AND SUBJECT TO THE <br />COUNCIL'S REVIE4d OF PLACED1ENT OF THE NOUSE MR. <br />LEIBEL PLANS TO COPJSTRUCT PRIOR TO ISSUANCE OF <br />A BUILDING PERMIT FOR THE PROPERTY IP1 ORDER TO <br />PRECLUDE THE POSSIBILITY OF A FURTHER LOT SPLIT <br />IN THE FUTURE AND SUBJECT TO THE RECOMMENDATIONS <br />OF THE CITY PLANNER AS COPJTAINED IN HIS REPORT <br />DATED APRIL 2, 1987 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by P4r. Fahey. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, Fahey, Scalze, Collova, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution 6ook No. 17, Pages 247 and 248. <br />The Planner reported that the ordinance provides that a property <br />owner can request an extension of a variance prior to expiration <br />of the variance. The ordinance provides for variances to expire <br />after one year, if not acted upon. <br />Leibel requested the Council approve a three-year variance in this <br />case as Councils change and it will take time to resolve the <br />access issues in this proposal. Leibel was concerned that a neu~ <br />Council might not approve an extension of the variance. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />Page -9- <br />
