MINUTES City Council June 24, 1987 Easement Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: On Saiko Property RESOLUTION N0. 87-6-295 - FlUTHORIZING (Cont.) TNE CITY ATTORNEY TO BEGIPJ CONDEPINATION PROCEEDINGS FOR AN EASEP1ENT ON THE SAIKO PROPERTY FOR THE IMPROVEP4ENT OF DEMONT STREET The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by P1r. Collova. Flyes (5) Blesener, Collova, LaValle, Fahey, Scalze. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 17, Page 320. Personnel The City Attorney submitted to the Council proposed amendments Code to the City's Personnel Code. Agenda It was the concensus of the Council to review the amendments and Addition take action on them at the next Council meeting. Comparable The City Attorney reported that he has determined that there is no 4lorth exemption for cities with under 10 full-time employees with regard to comparable worth. Agenda Item No, U As administrative liaison, Mr. LaValle reported that he will work on this matter and make a recommendation to the Council. Liquor The City Planner submitted to the Council a report regarding the License City's present liquor license system as well as the use of the Report liquor license system to attract high-quality development to the City. Agenda Item No. 18 Fahey suggested that the Council revieda the report for possible action at the second Council meeting in July. City Pin Fahey reported that he and P1rs. Scalze agreed on the design and color for the City pin and have ordered 2,500 pins. The color for Agenda the maple leaf on the pin was warm red. Addition Scalze stated that she fel t the color of the maple leaf on the City's letterhead was too orange and suggested that when letterhead is reordered, the color warm red be used. Page -23-
