There was no one else that wanted to comment.
Financing
District Wilson suggested that at this point the public hearing be closed,
Plan No. 1 but that action on the District Plan be tabled for 30 days pending
(Cont.) review of the County. Ulilson noted that the p lan would come before
the Council for action at its July 22 meeting.
P1rs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION N0. 87-6-276 - CLOSING THE
PUBLIC HEARING ON TAX INCREPIENT FINANCING
DISTRICT PLAN N0. 1
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by P1r. f3lesener.
Ayes (5) Scalze, Blesener, Collova, LaValle, Fahey.
Nays (0).
Resolution declared adopted.
This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 17, Page 300.
~niilson reported that at the July 22 meeting the City would have a
signed contract with the developer of the Thunder Bay 2nd Addition.
Thunder Fahey opened the public hearing on the final plat of the Thunder Bay
Bay 2nd 2nd Addition. Fahey noted that the Planning Commission has recommended
Flddition approval of the final plat as presented.
Agenda Scalze noted that the Council had requested that the road right-of-way
Item No. 7 be 50 feet through to LaBore Road.
The Engineer reported that the proposal is for a 40 foot road right-
of-way on the south end of the street with 10 feet easement dedicated
to the City for snow storage. The Engineer pointed out that the
street would have a standard 32-foot road mat.
Fahey agreed with Scalze that the City wanted a 50-foot road right-
of-way for the entire length of the street.
Frank Frattalone, developer of the Thunder Bay 2nd Addition, stated
that this was not his understanding. Frattalone explained that the
lot at the corner of LaBore and the proposed new street is only 98
feet wide and a 30 foot setback is required from the road right-of-
way. If the street right-of-way is required to be 50 feet in this
area, this would leave only about 44 feet in which to construct a
home. Frattalone pointed out that with a 40-foot right-of-way, this
would give him an additional 10 feet of building area.
Page -9-
